Rabbit and Hare
Though they belong to the same family called Leporidae, they are different just like goats and sheep. Rabbits are cute and fluffy and their fur doesn’t change color for every season. Also, rabbits dig burrows or holes for shelter and to hide from their predators. They live in groups called colonies and groups of underground burrows (tunneled) are called warrens. Also, you will be able to note rabbits have small legs and ears and a little small compared to hares.
While hare has large hind legs as they live in open habitats and live in forms (shallow depression) in open grassland. Also, hares are born with fur and eyes open, and it does mean less parenting for the female hare (Jill). Jack and Jill are the male and female gender names for hares.

Do rabbits only eat carrots/rabbits’ food in wild?
No! carrot is not part of their main diet in the wild and open habitat. While it is only in cartoons it is shown as rabbits and hares eat carrots. In the real world, they mostly eat fresh hay, weeds, grass, vegetable plants, and flowers. And please note don’t feed too many carrots (sugary) to your bunnies is going to hurt the animal’s teeth and digestive system.

And as said they have whiskers like cats, they do groom themself like cats and keep them clean and don’t require bathing often.
Lifespan and kits: Domestic rabbits live anywhere between 5 – 12 years on average and it also depends upon the breed. Rabbits give birth to 4 – 14 kits at a time while the average is 6 but it is very unlikely for her all bunnies to survive the next year.
